September 27 | Another Year
Well, we all made it through that dreaded day with a few shed tears and lots of laughs about memories, and now we start another year filled with "I still can't believe it" and "I really miss Melissa" but we'll all pull through in the end. And I'm sure she'd be yelling at us all that we're big crybabies :)haha, but ya know what Missa, yeah I am a crybaby about it SO THERE!
September 22 | I will remember you
One year ago today we lost a daughter, sister and friend. Melissa isn't here on earth with us anymore in body but she is here in spirit and in our hearts. She will live on in our memories and in each life that she touched she left a part of herself, an imprint on our lives, our souls and our hearts.
"I will remember you, will you remember me? Don't let your life pass you by, weep not for the memory" Celebrate her, celebrate her life, celebrate everything she means to each of us by keeping the joy and laughter that she brought to our lives alive.
I am a better person for having Melissa in my life. I miss and love her.
September 14 | Just a Question...
So, a while, I put a piece of paper that I wrote some poems and whatnot up on Diamond Ridge with Missa. I went back up there recently and it was MIA. So I was just wondering if anyone took it, or did the wind blow it away? It's ok if someone took it, I'm just curious.
September 12 | No thanks, I'll pass
Can I just skip over the rest of September?
September 10 | The Garden in Winter
Winter fades the garden now
Where laughter use to flower
It makes us sad to linger there
The minutes seem like hours
But though we only see the loss
of what we use to know
In time the warmth of memory
will make the garden grow
and shades of love we thought we'd lost
once again will show...peeking through the snow
