Today would have been the day that I inundated her in-box with emails. I would have spent a good portion of my morning searching for variations on the birthday theme song and emailing them each to her, one by one.

I would have sent her 19 emails with an ASCII rose in each of them – one for each year of her life. I would have tried to overflow her in-box until messages started bouncing back to be due to her box being full.

she put all the ones you sent her last year in her journal which im sure you already know...i was looking through it one day, got to those pages and just didnt understand...that was before i met you so when she said it was just what you did i just smiled and said ok, but now i realize, it kinda sorta really fits your personality! :)

A really sad thing: my mom threw away most of her journal because a lot of the stuff in it was... inappropriate. I never got to see it, and that makes me very sad.

That's why I took it and didn't tell anyone I had it...I just didn't think Missa would have wanted her parents to read it...I mean she was close with them and they did know a lot, but they didn't know everything...that kinda makes me sad too.

I'm very sorry that I offended you both, but there was certain things I didn't want her dad to read. Sorry! Mom

You didn't offend me, Mom - all I said is that it is sad. I completely understand you not wanting to keep it... but I had also wanted to read it.
